Discover The Ultimate Media Air Filter To Stop Particulate Bypass And Eliminate Pressure Drop!
Просмотров 7635 месяцев назад
An air filter and filter cabinet combo that has the potential for particulate bypass will create issues within an HVAC system. For instance, any dirt/debris that is not captured can get caught on the secondary heat exchanger of a high efficiency furnace and/or evaporator coil of an air conditioning system. This can plug the surface and also cause condensate management issues. Choosing a deep pl...

How Does Flame Rectification Work On A Heating Season
Просмотров 1,8 тыс.6 месяцев назад
Flame rectification is the process of changing an AC signal to a DC signal. During flame rectification, the ignition control will send an AC signal in the range of 90v to 120v, from the flame sense terminal. That signal is sent down the flame sensor wire and through the flame sensor, it is rectified using the flame as part of the circuit and allowing the signal to come in contact with ground. A...
Carrier Rooftop Gas Valve Replacement After Going Off On High Limit

Last winter this Carrier rooftop unit was going off on high limit. There was a problem with the gas valve in high fire and there was also a problem with the bypass damper on this zoned system. The gas valve pressure would creep up slowly over time from 3.5" wc to almost 4" wc within a few minutes of operation. For this reason, it had to left in low fire. The bypass damper was stuck in a closed ...

Great informative video as always!
I just hate leak searching...
With the right electronic leak detector it doesn't take long at all
Great podcast Gary. Thank you two for the knowledge.
Cheers Steve
Never knew what the gas ballast's purpose was until I saw your helpful video. I've been working with high-powered 16kW Leybold screw vaccuum pumps for a couple of years and always wondered what that gas ballast is for. For servicing, we always had to change the air filter once a year, and boy, do they clog up a lot of grime.
Glad to help!
Great video 😊
Thank you!
Why a contractor should be replaced with a compressor?
A faulty contactor can take out a compressor if the contacts are pitted or stick.
Great video 👍
Cheers!
The “yep” count was out of control on this one 😂
It happens!
@@HVACKnowItAll yep
Great information all the same
I appreciate that!
this is a creative way to do this, thanks
It's really just basic troubleshooting
Good info here to avoid premature compressor failure
Does this work with the old economizer actuator
No, you'll need a new one
@@HVACKnowItAll Thanks for the answer. The customer decided against repairing their economizer because they didn't want to replace the actuator and the control module so they'll just be running the mechanical cooling now instead.
wont air get in the lines tho??
The compressor is isolated from the lines and under a vaccum
yea but introducing the oil from open top oil can u would think oxygen will b introduced
pls help, how do i know which ac hard start kit for my residential ac lennox 5 ton

No
Come on man dont wax philosophical about a squirrel cage Im busy😂
What would the result/symptoms be if the solenoid were to get stuck in the open(unloading) position? Would pressures equalize?
Make this is EXCELLENT EXPLANATION!!! Wgreat video
can i use this for lifting things on roofs just extend the rope
Not really no
Man you are a hero. I have watched over 20 videos on how heat pump works, I was so confused, like fucking water actually mix with refrigerant? Like wtf, nobody mentioned or explained the coaxial coil and how it works. Thanks god I found your video
Glad to help sir
Thanks bro!
Just what I needed! I was wondering why no freon was going in.... Turns out I have no idea what I'm doing. But now I kinda do!
I stared my hvac business in Canada 12 years ago. I’ve always just wanted a balanced work life. I knew very little about business and hard to learn thru a lot of bumps. I was tired of working for somebody, counting on the weather to keep us busy. It’s so hard to get ahead in business, especially with the crazy economy. Here it’s hard to sell a 3 ton a/c system for 5000$. I see guys in the states that wouldn’t touch it for less than 10-15k. Business stresses me out. I’m tired of the rollercoaster and catch up game that always seems to be going on. Sometimes I wish I never got into this. There is a few perks for sure , but sometimes I just wish I stayed working for the man
Nice thank you I'm getting 15.7 across all three leg start run and common. It was a little hot but all three legs are Reading the same so it is not grounded or in thermal lockout. But when the 24 volts are engaged the compressor stays at 290 on the low side and high side it is not adjusting in any way.
Any review on the pocket version I think it’s the pocket 2
Usually one of the worst issues these units have that is always not addressed at the factory is bad soft foot from those formed bases. I routinely see 0.020-0.050” soft foot.
Found one like that on a carrier today tripping the breaker
can you cut steel with that rig? Also, when brazing, do you have the option of using just MAPP or do you have to use O2 all the time?
Geat video. I know you did not flow nitro for demonstration purposes, what is the best way to remove those flakes from that txv afterwards?
Using a flush system like RX11 flush but nitrogen will avoid all that. In reality RX11 is only for linsets
Boring mtfkr
How much was the set, an estimate since it was last year. And how much is each tank? 🤔✌🏾 I’ll plan ahead, thanks in advance.
the whole static pressure is a shit fools gimic to make more money
